LE GRAND TAMTIDELAM À DEUX TÊTES
This work is part of my “Acid Folk” series in which I try to bring back the myths and legends of my childhood. Graphic and naive, the “Acid Folk” imagery is a tribute to folk art and its joyful uninhibited attitude. Each “Acid Folk” quilt is accompanied by a micro-tale, creating a whimsical universe rooted in the imaginary territory of my Nordic childhood. The Great Two-Headed Tamtidelam is a creature neither dog nor wolf whose head was split by lightning one stormy night. Since, he is able to perceive the past and the future, but is unaware of the present.
